South Bend-Fort Wayne Brawl, Tuft and Groome Suspended Thursday, April 16th , 2026 After an intense confrontation, both the Fighting Irish Colin Tuft and the Bucks Jay Groome were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent South Bend-Fort Wayne game. Colin Tuft will miss 4 games, while Jay Groome was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Colin Tuft commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." |
