Cappe 5-for-7 Against Kane County Sunday, May 3rd , 2026 It was a parade of hits for Yiddi Cappe of the Springfield Sluggers at Ballpark of Kane County. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Cappe finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 7 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Sluggers to a win, 13-2. "Cappe was really good and we were really bad," groaned Cougars manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
