The Kane County Cougars starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Modesto Miracle and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Lord was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 10 months. This season, Lord shows a 1-0 record in 5 games, 27 innings, 15 strikeouts, and a 7.67 ERA. |
