Red-Hot Kurtz MWL Player of the Week Monday, May 5th , 2025 When it came to hitting the baseball, Nick Kurtz was in a class by himself in the Midwest League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding first baseman for Truth or Con. tagged opposing pitchers for a .515 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 17 hits in 33 at-bats, 4 homers, 10 runs scored and 11 RBIs. In 25 games this year, Kurtz has posted a .461 average and put up these numbers: 13 home runs, 35 RBIs and 26 runs scored. |
