Sim and Decker Suspended, Out 4 Games Monday, July 6th , 2026 When fights happen, suspensions are not far behind. That axiom was held to be true today when Fort Wayne's Kevin Sim and Truth or Con.'s Brandon Decker were given a temporary vacation from the game, courtesy of the league commissioner's office. They both were suspended for 4 games for their actions in a recent ruckus between the two teams. Both benches cleared when Sim charged Decker. Both players have accepted their fate and will begin serving their suspensions immediately. Neither would talk to reporters about the confrontation. During the current season Sim is batting at a .221 clip with 2 home runs and 21 RBIs. He has played in 45 games and scored 23 times. Decker has taken the mound for 6 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 0-0 record with a 5.40 ERA. The Truth or Con. reliever has limited opposing batters to a .352 batting average. |
