La Crosse SP Plesac Will Miss 15 Months Sunday, July 12th , 2026 The season is finished for Zach Plesac of the La Crosse Ironmen. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Ironmen starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Fort Wayne Bucks. Team doctors said it would take at least 15 months to heal. This year, Plesac has recorded a 3-2 mark. In 16 starts he has fanned 64 batters in 77.1 innings with a 4.66 ERA. |
