Spikerman's Season Could be Over Wednesday, July 23rd , 2025 A blow for John Spikerman today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4 months with a broken bone in the elbow. Spikerman suffered the injury running the bases. Although officials from the Columbia Colonels are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Spikerman's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. For the year, Spikerman has hit .312 with 7 home runs, 38 RBIs and scored 55 runs. |
