Lake Placid's Martinez Sidelined for Season Wednesday, July 30th , 2025 The season is ending on a bad note for Daniel Martinez, reliever for the Lake Placid Gators. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Martinez was hurt against the Auburn Arrows while throwing a pitch. He suffered radial nerve compression and will be out for at least 4-5 months. So far this season, Martinez is 2-and-1 with no saves and a 4.76 ERA. He has given up 39 hits in 34 innings with 30 strikeouts. |
