Season-Ending Injury for Joe Naranjo Tuesday, August 12th , 2025 When Joe Naranjo was hurt against the Charleston Chanticleers, the Columbus River Rats were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 24-year-old first baseman suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament running the bases in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Naranjo would miss 7 months of the season. So far on the season, Naranjo is hitting .273 with 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has 12 hits and played in 34 games. |
