Saunders and Guasch Suspended, Out 2 Games Monday, September 1st , 2025 Hot tempers flared and a few punches were thrown at the Annapolis and Lexington game yesterday and ended up with two players ejected. Warren Saunders of the Argonauts and Richard Guasch of the Bluegrass have now been reprimanded and issued 2-game suspensions by the league commissioner for their parts in the fracas. Thus far this year, Saunders is batting .324 with 17 home runs, 79 RBIs and 89 runs scored. To date this year, he has registered 1 save, 4 wins and 1 loss with a 7.28 ERA. Guasch has made 41 relief appearances, worked a total of 80.1 innings and surrendered 107 hits. He has fanned 82, issued 59 free passes and held opposing clubs to a .320 batting average. |
