League Issues 4-Game Suspensions for Brawl
Thursday, September 4th , 2025
At a recent Gators-Terrapins contest at Gators Ballpark, Tanner Morris of Lake Placid took exception to what Gavin Collyer of Maryland said to him and tackled him. This led to an old-fashioned bench-clearing free-for-all between the two clubs. After the umpires restored order, they ejected both players.
Today the league commissioner's office took action and suspended each player for 4 games, citing them for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct."
This year, Collyer has made 44 relief appearances and saved 7. His record is 5-5 with 69 strikeouts in 56 innings and a 7.39 ERA.
