Greenjackets Reliever Cops Pitching Award Wednesday, July 1st , 2026 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Bailey Dees, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Augusta Greenjackets closer, 27, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .269 average and walked away with the South Atlantic League Pitcher of the Month award for June. Dees posted a 4-0 mark and a 5.71 ERA in 9 relief appearances. In 17.1 innings, he had 5 saves, 22 strikeouts, and 11 walks. So far this season, Dees has chalked up a 4.52 ERA with 5 saves. In 9 relief appearances he has registered a 5-1 won-lost record and struck out 66 batters in 61.2 innings, while walking 29. He has allowed teams to hit .273 against him. |
