Kellen Strahm Rockets 3 Home Runs Monday, August 31st , 2026 Delmarva White Wings right fielder Kellen Strahm almost did it all. He sent three shots out of the ballpark, scored 3 times and drove in 6 runs and had 3 hits in 5 at-bats. The one thing he could not do, however, was lead the White Wings to victory. The Auburn Arrows escaped with the win, 12-7, despite being on the receiving end of the barrage from Strahm. "I'd be lying if I said I didn't like hitting three homers, but losing takes a little glitter off the game," he admitted to BNN writers after the game. Kellen Strahm struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Hunter Mann in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Kyle Brnovich in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Kyle Brnovich in the 9th. "When someone hits three home runs, you put yourself in a tough position to win," said Delmarva manager . "We were lucky to win this one. I don't think it matters how hard you throw, especially in the South Atlantic League. If you leave a ball out over the plate to good South Atlantic League hitters, if they get a bead on you and you leave it over the middle, they're probably going to take a good hack at it." Thus far this year, Strahm has hit .325 with 10 home runs and 52 RBIs. |
