Columbia Snaps Trimble Streak at 22
Wednesday, May 21st , 2025
The Columbia Colonels pitching staff did its job, holding hot-hitting Reed Trimble hitless in 2 at-bats during the club's 7-0 victory over the Auburn Arrows at Field of the Colonels. The disappointing performance ended a 22-game hitting streak for the center fielder.
"I'm a little down right now," Trimble said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too."
Currently Trimble is batting .373 with 5 home runs and 24 RBIs.
