Gillen Belts 5 Hits Thursday, August 28th , 2025 Theo Gillen was at the head of a Silver Bow County hit parade at Sluggers Ballpark. The center fielder went to the plate 6 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Ospreys to a nice 18-9 victory over the Pocatello Sidewinders. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Gillen told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Sidewinders skipper said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Theo Gillen singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Braylon Doughty in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Grayson Moore in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This season, Gillen has banged out 78 hits in 212 at-bats for a .368 average with 9 home runs. He is getting on base at a .513 pace and his totals also include 59 RBIs and 61 runs scored.
