Hit Streak for Cappe Reaches 20 Thursday, August 28th , 2025 The Silver Bow County Ospreys stopped the Pocatello Sidewinders, 18-9, and Yiddi Cappe collected a base hit yet again. The Silver Bow County second baseman finished with 2 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Cappe told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Yiddi Cappe singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, walked in the 4th, walked in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and walked in a run in the 8th. Cappe is batting .386 with 8 home runs and 56 RBIs this season. |
