Curtis Washington Jr. showed off his speed, his power and his plate discipline at Shakespearians Stadium, putting together all facets of his game to hit for the cycle in the Ashland win.
The 25-year-old center fielder went 4-for-5, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to help the Shakespearians top the Pocatello Sidewinders by a score of 13-7. A jubilant Washington Jr. told reporters afterward that the experience was "unimaginable."
"Seriously, I would have been happy going 1-for-5 with just the double," he said. "So this feels incredible."
