Sagdal Belts 5 Hits Monday, July 13th , 2026 Ian Sagdal exploded for a barrage of base hits at Sea Dogs Ballpark. The Banff shortstop had a field day in his team's 18-9 triumph over the Eureka Sea Dogs, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Sagdal must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Ian Sagdal singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
