Red-Hot Baez Scorches Cougars Thursday, July 24th , 2025 Kingsport shortstop Juan Baez had a day to remember, 5-for-6 against the Cooperstown Cougars at Arsenal Ballpark as the Arsenal picked up a win, 17-16. "He was patient up there," Kingsport skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Baez has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Juan Baez hit a solo-shot off Chase Mobley in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Daniel Juarez in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
