Marion Halts McCants's Hitting Steak Friday, July 25th , 2025 It was a doubly miserable day for TJ McCants of the Atlantic City Caesars, as he saw his 21-game hitting streak end and his team lose, 23-14, to the Marion Dukes at Ballpark of Marion. The 24-year-old center fielder was held hitless in 2 at-bats by the Dukes. "Anyone on a 21-game hitting streak is going to be a tough out," Marion manager said later. "But we had a plan and we were careful about it, and got it done." This season, McCants has hit 5 home runs and posted a .393 batting average. |
