Nicholas Judice Sidelined for Season Wednesday, August 6th , 2025 The doctors have spoken and Nicholas Judice of the Savannah Sand Gnats didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Judice sustained his season-ending injury during the Johnson City Eagles game yesterday at Sand Gnats Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Savannah medical staff reported Judice had a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 6-7 months. |
