Appy Top Batter Trophy Won by Mieses Monday, September 1st , 2025 Luis Mieses may be much younger than other hitters in the Appalachian League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 25-year-old Kingsport center fielder hit .487 with 11 home runs, 46 RBIs and 40 runs scored. Thus far this season in 33 games, Mieses is batting .489 with 13 home runs, 50 RBIs and 49 runs scored. He has 65 hits in 133 at-bats. |
