Mieses Connects for 3 Homers for Arsenal Monday, September 1st , 2025 Kingsport Arsenal center fielder Luis Mieses had a magnificent game against the Atlantic City Caesars, rocketing three balls out of Caesars Ballpark to help the Arsenal win, 24-19. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Mieses went 3-for-4 with 10 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Kingsport manager said later. "Seems like Luis found his home run stroke today." Luis Mieses walked in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Mason McGwire in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Will Frisch in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Anthony Imhoff in the 4th and struck out in the 5th. So far this season, Mieses has recorded a .496 batting average with 68 hits, 16 home runs, 60 RBIs, 53 runs scored and a .578 OBP. |
