Pooser Brilliant -- Fires No-Hitter Tuesday, September 2nd , 2025 In a dominant outing, Trey Pooser of the Rome Gladiators totally silenced the bats of the Cooperstown Cougars, finishing with a no-hitter. In the 15-0 victory, Pooser faced only 31 batters, surrendered no hits, had 11 strikeouts and 1 walk. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Rome manager said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager told reporters in the clubhouse that he had a "simple" analysis of the game. "The Gladiators had all the hits and all the runs, so they won," he snapped. "But yeah, Pooser pitched a heck of a ballgame." This season, Pooser has fashioned a 7-0 mark and 5.27 ERA in 71.2 innings.
