The Math Says - Asheville Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 3rd , 2025 The Asheville Aviators were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Mason Molina of the Aviators said it's a tough way to finish out the season. "To be eliminated from playoff contention in the last few games, it's not easy," he said. Before this season, the Aviators last missed the playoffs in 2022. In the 13 years they have been a Appalachian League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 11 times. Asheville last won the Round 2 in 2023. |
