Appy News: The Offseason Begins Saturday, September 27th , 2025 The last cheers for the 2025 Appy champions still hang in the air as the baseball season has come to a close. Lockers sit empty, while fans and media reflect on the season just concluded. The players are already relaxing, taking advantage of this opportunity to heal some of the aches and pains from the long season. Meanwhile, general managers and team staff take stock of their teams and plot roster moves. Scouts are busier than ever, hoping to find that hidden gem that will boost their own fortunes as well as their team's. In a few months, the new landscape of Appalachian League will become apparent, as the preseason gets under way.
