Pena Swings for the Cycle
At Ballpark of Hershey, Jeremy Pena led Hartford to a win, 7-4, over the Hershey Bears by hitting for the cycle, one of baseball's more difficult feats.

"Usually the triple is the hardest one to get, but I was most worried about the homer today because the ball wasn't carrying," Pena said later. "When I took it deep, I was expecting the ball to die on the warning track, so it was sweet seeing the ump give me the signal to circle the bases."

In addition to going 4-for-5, Pena chalked up 4 RBI and scored 2 runs in an exceptional performance.

Jeremy Pena doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, tripled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Ronald Herrera in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.

Pena currently has a .302 batting average with 38 hits, 5 homers, 25 RBIs, 21 runs scored and a .358 OBP.
