Fans at Homers Ballpark saw the Round 1 come to a close today, as the Great Falls Gunslingers defeated the Medicine Hat Homers by a score of 10-4, and advanced to the Round 2.

Great Falls won the series 3-1 and will now continue their march toward the Round 2.

"It feels good to be moving on, I can't deny it," said third baseman Tai Peete, who was named series MVP. "Not everyone thought we'd make it this far."

The Great Falls Gunslingers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Banff Summits - Walla Walla Wolfpack series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
