Armenteros Tags Pirates for 5 Hits Wednesday, May 21st , 2025 5 times is the charm -- at least for Lazaro Armenteros. The Pascagoula Crawdads center fielder tore up the Clearwater Beach Pirates to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Clearwater Beach Grounds. The offensive onslaught from Armenteros powered the 7-2 Crawdads win. "Armenteros was a tough out," Clearwater Beach manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Lazaro Armenteros singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Josh James in the 9th.
