Great Stroke: Pitelli Gets 5 Hits Sunday, August 24th , 2025 San Antonio shortstop Dominic Pitelli had a day to remember, 5-for-7 against the Springfield Sluggers at Sluggers Ballpark as the Vipers picked up a win, 11-9. "He was patient up there," San Antonio skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Pitelli has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Dominic Pitelli grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Brooks Crawford in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 9th and singled in the 10th.
