Baez Takes SAL's Best Bat Trophy Monday, September 1st , 2025 Lakewood Legends fans believe they've got a talented young star in Jesus Baez. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in August, as he hit .434 with 13 home runs, 31 RBIs and 26 runs scored. The end result was the shortstop being named the South Atlantic League Batter of the Month. So far this season, Baez has gotten 171 hits in 436 at-bats for a .392 batting average with 32 home runs. His stats include 108 RBIs and 96 runs scored. He has played in 119 games. |
