Ellis Belts 6 Hits Tuesday, July 7th , 2026 All game long, Sarasota's Drew Ellis was rattling the walls at Legends Ballpark and banging out base hits against the Lakewood Legends. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 6-hit day and the Bobcats had a win, 21-4. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 30-year-old third baseman said, "Get 6 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Drew Ellis singled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Henry Williams in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
