At Columbus Grounds, McAfee showed how well he learned that lesson. The 28-year-old shortstop had 5 hits in 6 at-bats for the Columbus River Rats, helping his team knock off the Lexington Bluegrass by a score of 17-6. "They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did." Quincy McAfee doubled in the 2nd, hit a three-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Douglas Orellana in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 7th.
